Man wounded in shootout with armed robbery suspect in west Phoenix<\/strong><\/p>\n A man was injured in a shootout with an alleged armed robbery suspect in Phoenix. Police were called to the area of 67th Avenue and Van Buren Street at about 12:30 a.m. Friday.<\/p>\n According to police, the victim was in his car with a friend when a man approached them and demanded the victim\u2019s property. Both were armed with handguns and exchanged gunfire, according to investigators. The victims suffered life-threatening wounds. It\u2019s not clear if the suspect was hit; he was gone before officers got there. The victim\u2019s friend was not hurt.<\/p>\n Police said they could not share any other details but they are hoping to hear from people who might have information about what happened.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n 0 \/ 0 \/ 1 Suspect Shot by Homeowner in Troy Home Burglary<\/strong><\/p>\n On Wednesday March 11, around 4:53 pm, Troy Police responded to a report of a male subject that had been shot on Pike County Road 1177 near Pike County Road 1148. When police arrived, they found a male subject in his mid-twenties suffering from a single gunshot wound.<\/p>\n The subject was treated at the scene by the Troy Fire Department and Haynes Ambulance personnel. He was then transported to a Montgomery Hospital for further treatment.<\/p>\n After further investigation it was discovered that the male victim was a suspect in a burglary that had occurred just minutes earlier near the area. The suspect was confronted by the homeowner, shots were fired by the homeowner with one round striking the suspect in the upper thigh.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n 0 \/ 1 \/ 0 Suspect in pharmacy robbery is dead, police confirm<\/strong><\/p>\n By BECCA OWSLEY RPD headed to Apothecare Pharmacy at 189 E. Lincoln Trail Blvd. regarding a robbery around 9:15 a.m. where a male suspect was shot and killed. Police confirmed that a store employee shot the suspect.<\/p>\n According to radio communications, a medical helicopter had been called to the area and then canceled.<\/p>\n All employees of the business are safe and unharmed, Chief Cross said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
