Given that, the number of folks there is outstanding. And people were flooding in (pun intended) even as I was returning to my office. I don’t know the numbers, but it was enough that we were pushed at least 100 meters from the stage. I was there with Lt Nixon, Superbowl6Romeo, Lilyea and Hooper from Age of Hooper. I saw Medea Benjamin there, but she bolted. For some inexplicable reason she was wearing a hat with pink cardboard affixed to it proclaiming her love for Fox. I assume she was referring to Vincente Fox, but who knows. I think she thought she could just blend in.<\/p>\n
Per standard, there were your general assortment of other protestors there lamenting Gitmo. I honestly have no clue what they were doing, but had the standard orange jumpers on with black head things. All very odd.<\/p>\n
