Cleveland County man fatally shoots suspect who attacked him outside of his home<\/strong><\/p>\n

CLEVELAND COUNTY, N.C. – A Cleveland County man shot and killed a suspect who attacked him outside of his home in the early morning hours Wednesday. <\/p>\n

The Sheriff’s Office says they received a 911 call at 1:19 a.m. on March 5 about someone beating on the side of a home in Shelby. The owner of the home, Donald Bautista, grabbed his pistol went outside to see what was causing the noise.<\/p>\n

Bautista said he saw someone run into the wood-line behind his home moments before he was attacked by a suspect holding a wooden deck railing. Bautista sustained several defensive wounds before he fired one shot, killing the suspect later identified as Robert Burns. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Intruder shot by homeowner in Juneau County break in<\/strong><\/p>\n

KINGSTON TOWNSHIP, Wis. (WKBT) \u2013 A man attempting to break into a home in Kingston Township was shot by the homeowner early Wednesday morning in Juneau County.<\/p>\n

The Juneau County Communications Center received a call at 3:50 a.m. on Wednesday, March 4 regarding the incident.<\/p>\n

According to the Juneau County Sheriff\u2019s Office, the incident remains under investigation with no other information being released at this time. Authorities say there is no danger to the public.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\nST. CLOUD, Fla. \u2014 A man shot at an off-duty Orlando police officer after trying to kick in the front door of the officer\u2019s home before the officer opened fire, shooting the man several times early Sunday, St. Cloud police said.<\/p>\n

Police said the man did not know Orlando police Officer Julian Ortiz, but went to the party at Ortiz\u2019s home with an invited guest.<\/p>\n

Officers said the man was asked to leave the party. They said he returned at about 1:30 a.m. and tried to kick in Ortiz\u2019s front door.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
