This grassroots movement is unstoppable,” Sanders tweeted. “Together, let’s win the Democratic nomination, defeat Trump and transform the country!”

Not many moderate Democrats, Independents and Republicans want the transformation Bernie has in mind, though.

Bernie won Nevada in a walk, winning 46% of the votes. Biden came in a distant second with 19.6%, Buttigieg took 15.3% and Warren 10.1%. Bloomberg didn’t even show up.

Buttigieg, who is trying to position himself as Sanders’ main rival and draw in voters, stated “I believe the only way to truly deliver any of the progressive changes we care about is to be a nominee who actually gives a damn about the effect you are having, from the top of the ticket, on those crucial, front-line House and Senate Democrats running to win, who we need to win, to make sure our agenda is more than just words on a page.”

This earned him a tweet from NYC Mayor Bolshevik Bill de Blasio,
“Try not to be so smug when you just got your ass kicked,” de Blasio tweeted to Buttigieg. “You know how we form a winning coalition to beat Trump? This summer, party leaders may be forced to accept the nomination of a man who’s not officially a member of the party, who won’t have won a majority of primary voters, and whose agenda is popular with his progressive base but doesn’t have as much support with Democrats as a whole.

Former South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg, who finished third in Nevada, warned fellow Democrats that the “democratic socialist” from Vermont is unelectable: “Senator Sanders believes in an inflexible, ideological revolution that leaves out most Democrats, not to mention most Americans.”

But even if former Vice President Joe Biden wins South Carolina next week, it will not be enough to stop Sanders, who will finish second or better. Late entrant Michael Bloomberg has nearly half a billion dollars already, but inspires little confidence after a lackluster debate in Las Vegas last week.

Though Sen. Amy Klobuchar was hailed as the “great moderate hope” after her surprise third-place finish in New Hampshire, she did poorly in Nevada and does not have the resources to match Sanders.

Looks like the Russians are getting their wish.
