Butler City Police Department Investigating Home Invasion And Shooting<\/strong><\/p>\n By Shelby Cassesse According to police, they responded to a call regarding shots fired at 6:17 a.m. Sunday in the 300 block of Liberty Street.<\/p>\n They later responded to a home on Brown Avenue for an 18-year-old man shot, identified as Lamont Franklin. Lamont Franklin<\/p>\n The victim was flown to Presby. On Monday, police said his wound is non-life-threatening.<\/p>\n He is considered a suspect in the home invasion and he was questioned.<\/p>\n Throughout their investigation, they found that the gunshot victim had a connection to the people in the home invasion, which they believe was likely not a random act.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n 0 \/ 1 \/ 0 Man shot, killed while attempting robbery in Birmingham<\/strong><\/p>\n BIRMINGHAM \u2014 Police in Birmingham said a man was shot and killed while attempting a robbery early Sunday morning.
