Roger Stone’s trial is reaching its final phases. President Trump has signaled the possibility that he would pardon Roger Stone. CNN brought Representative Eric Swalwell on the air and interviewed him. Swalwell talked about the importance of an independent judiciary that is not influenced by anybody.<\/p>\n
During the course of the interview, he described President Trump as taking a wrecking ball to our justice system. He also described President Trump as engaging in corrupt policies, of taking actions to get his way “bully style”, as well as having other undesirable characteristics.<\/p>\n
The interviewer asked Swalwell if President Trump could be impeached for pardoning Roger Stone. Swalwell replied that no options were going to be taken off the table. This leaves the possibility, depending on which way events evolve, of having another impeachment proceeding.<\/p>\n
