Yeah, I want open relations with Cuba probably as much as anyone. I love the cigars, I love the rum, I love the music and I love the pastries. Most of the Cubans I’ve met were wonderful people, too. But, the Cuban government as headed by the Castros doesn’t deserve the privilege of free and open relations with our country. Of course that doesn’t stop the racists of the Congressional Black Caucus from going to Cuba and praising the government that terrorizes the Cuban people. <\/p>\n
The three buffoons currently giving a tongue bath to the Castro regime are Barbara Lee (who I dealt with in regards to the IVAW last year), Bobby Rush (the Chicago thug who sees racists around every corner) and Laura Richardson another California whacko. The three stooges marveled on CNN at how open Cuba is (well, as long as you don’t look inside the jails packed with prisoners of conscience). I’m sure Lee was wearing Depends when she met Castro<\/a>;<\/p>\n Caucus leader Rep. Barbara Lee, D-Calif., said she found Castro “very healthy, very energetic, very clear thinking” during his nearly two-hour session with the lawmakers. She said caucus members also visited his home and met his wife.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n So how does Castro repay them? He writes about a meeting the three stooges met with Raul Castro – a meeting Fidel didn’t attend – and reports that one member of the delegation called the US a racist society (Granma.cu<\/a>);<\/p>\n A fourth member of the Caucus said that despite Obama\u2019s electoral victory, U.S. society is still racist. He added that Obama represents the only opportunity that nation has to move forward and leave behind all the wrongdoings accumulated by former governments. He said that the president cannot go beyond lifting travel restrictions and allowing remittances by Cuban-Americans, because announcing an end to the blockade or the full normalization of bilateral relations would mean that he would never be reelected. He also confirmed that the anti-Cuban right wing still has enough power to attack him and prevent his reelection.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n Yeah, Barbara Lee denies anyone said that, so that means one of two things happened – either Lee is lying (which I don’t doubt) or Castro used them as a means to project his own words through their mouths to make him appear prophetic – not beyond the realm of possibilities, either. Either way, Castro wins and the delegation loses – and that’s the way it always happens to the useful idiots of the Left.
