Beretta Tomcat .32 ACP Pocket Rocket<\/a><\/p>\n Family shoots man found hiding in closet<\/strong><\/p>\n James Carr The homeowners were in the process of cleaning their new residence near 35th and Dunlap avenues when they discovered an adult man and an adult woman hiding in a closet.<\/p>\n A relative of the homeowners was startled and shot the adult man, who was transported to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.<\/p>\n The relative is cooperating with police and the investigation is ongoing, police said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n 0 \/ 2 \/ 0 Rindge police: Store clerk fires at suspects after being stabbed during robbery<\/strong><\/p>\n Tim Callery The robbery happened just after 9:30 p.m. at the North of the Border convenience store on Route 202.<\/p>\n The robbers entered the store with masks, jumped on the counter and attacked the clerk, stabbing him in the abdomen, Rindge police said in a press release. One of the men had a knife, and the other had a gun, police said.<\/p>\n “He had a single abdominal, I\u2019d say a penetrating wound from what appeared to be a knife and some other injuries to his body said Sgt. Rachel Malynowski, Rindge Police Department. \u201cAdmitted that he had just been robbed by two individuals.”<\/p>\n The clerk fired at the men as they fled, but they made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.<\/p>\n \u201cI can confirm that as they were leaving, my clerk fired several rounds in their direction,\u201d said Sgt. Malynowski. \u201cWe are still processing that information. I do not have information as to whether or not suspects were hit.”<\/p>\n The clerk was then taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and has since been released.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n 0 \/ 1 \/ 0 Police: Atlanta homeowner shoots suspected prowler after threats<\/strong><\/p>\n ATLANTA – Atlanta police say they won’t file any charges against a homeowner who shot an accused prowler Sunday morning.<\/p>\n Police were called to the home on the 60 block of Adaire Avenue SE after reports of a shooting around 3:20 a.m.<\/p>\n Officials tell FOX 5 that the homeowner reported someone was banging on the family’s front door, but it didn’t sound like the person was looking for help.<\/p>\n The banging was so aggressive that the home’s door was shaking, police reported.<\/p>\n “The homeowners could hear the individual talking making threats against them,” Atlanta Police Department Capt. Jessica Bruce said. “At that point, the homeowners felt threatened for their life.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
