Victims thank good Samaritan who helped save their lives by opening fire at the man chasing them<\/strong><\/p>\n A big \u201cthank you\u201d to a good Samaritan who helped save the lives of four people.<\/p>\n Police say a man chased four people after he yelled at them at Rusty\u2019s Bar Thursday night.<\/p>\n The fight ended with a car crash and that good Samaritan opened fire.<\/p>\n Investigators say 53-year-old Henry Lesinak, Jr. started it all and now faces several charges.<\/p>\n We spoke with two of those people who ran for help: a mother-in-law and daughter-in-law on vacation, only in Cape Coral for one night.<\/p>\n They\u2019re calling the man who saved them a hero.<\/p>\n Ashley and Emily Gallagher say they\u2019re grateful to be alive. All thanks to one Cape Coral man\u2019s quick thinking.<\/p>\n \u201cHe\u2019s an amazing person and he saved our lives and he\u2019s a hero, he really is,\u201d Ashley said.<\/p>\n A hero for saving them and two others from Lesniak who, they say, bought their group some drinks at Rusty\u2019s downtown Thursday night.<\/p>\n \u201cI think he was trying to hit on my daughter-in-law and definitely get her to go home with him, or whatever it was. And I think when he realized that wasn\u2019t going to happen, that\u2019s when he said we were taking advantage of him by spending his money,\u201d Ashley said.<\/p>\n \u201cAll of a sudden, like, \u2018boom,\u2019 he turned violent, angry,\u201d Emily said. \u201cThat\u2019s when we saw the white pickup truck and honestly, like, he had no choice but to say, like, yes. We kind of just screamed, \u2018help,\u2019 begging him to let us into his truck,\u201d Emily said.<\/p>\n Behind the wheel of that white pickup truck? Amir Rossi.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n 0 \/ 1 \/ 0 A PD report: Man shoots back after being \u2018randomly shot in drive by\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n by Joey Hollingsworth According to an APD incident report, a 36-year-old male told police he was \u201cshot randomly in a drive by.\u201d<\/p>\n The incident happened between 2:30 and 3:30 Friday morning in the 700 block of Plum Street, according to the report.<\/p>\n The victim, who went to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg, told police that he shot back in self defense, according to the report.<\/p>\n Police say multiple shell casings were located at the scene of the incident.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n 0 \/ 1 \/ 0 DA: Man was justified in shooting, killing robber at strip mall<\/strong><\/p>\n Bo Koltnow Darrell Mussa was pronounced dead at St. Luke’s Hospital. The county coroner’s office determined the cause of death to be multiple gunshot wounds, and the manner of death to be homicide. Homicide is defined as the death of one person at the hands of another.<\/p>\n Allentown and Bethlehem officers swarmed a strip mall in the 1400 block of Pennsylvania Avenue near the Bethlehem city border around 8:30 p.m. Police closed off the street and parking lot with crime scene tape.<\/p>\n Mussa first robbed Pennsylvania Avenue Cold Beer and Beverages at gun point. Immediately afterward he went into Drake’s Pizza and committed a second armed robbery, the DA’s office said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
\nThe group tried to leave and get in their car and that\u2019s when, investigators say, Lesniak chased after them.<\/p>\n
