Man shot after kicking in door in Macon, dies<\/strong><\/p>\n MACON, Ga. — Coroner Leon Jones says a man died Sunday after being shot in December.<\/p>\n The victim, 29-year-old Kelvin Orr, reportedly kicked down the wrong door December 29 at a home on Hillary Place, according to Jones. Orr was shot multiple times.<\/p>\n Jones says Orr died from his injuries on Sunday at the Surgical Trauma Intensive Care Navicent.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n 1 \/ 0 \/ 0 Homeowner shoots and kills person outside house in Kansas City<\/strong><\/p>\n BY CORTLYNN STARK Officers responded to the homicide about 6 a.m. at a home near 83rd Street and The Paseo, according to the Kansas City Police Department. Some officers had been in the area and heard the gunshots, according to police.<\/p>\n Arriving officers contacted a homeowner who said he heard activity outside his house. He went to investigate and fired several shots at a person who was not supposed to be there, he told police.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n 1 \/ 0 \/ 0 Police investigate exchange of gunfire in Chalfant<\/strong><\/p>\n By Brian C. Rittmeyer According to county police, officers from neighboring Forest Hills and Wilkins Township responded to a call of shots fired in the 700 block of Greensburg Pike around 10 p.m. Wednesday.<\/p>\n Officers found damage to the front of a residence and a parked, unoccupied vehicle. No one was hit by gunfire.<\/p>\n County police said they learned from witnesses and evidence that two people had been standing on a porch in the 700 block of Greensburg Pike when a dark colored SUV drove past, turned around and parked at the curb. An unidentified heavy-set black man got out of the vehicle, shouted something at the house and started shooting.<\/p>\n A person on the porch with access to a firearm returned fire and fled into the house. Another adult and three small children were also in the house, police said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
