Re: today’s gun rights rally in Richmond, VA: there are many conflicting reports coming out of this, e.g., KKK-wearer Northam has fled the coop at Richmond and leaves others to do his dirty work for him, anyone with a gun inside a marked off space will be busted, radicals and extremists will show up driving armored equipment, etc.<\/p>\n

VDCL has even warned members to not take the bait. It said this week, \u201cIf someone tries to provoke you, smile and walk away. There is probably someone secretly recording the interaction, with the intent of capturing some kind of inappropriate reaction on your part. Don’t take the bait. It’s not worth the bad press.\u201d<\/p>\n

The group added, \u201cThe Democrats are afraid of the voters and want to portray this peaceful assembly of law-abiding gun owners in the worst possible way. They would love for it to degenerate to \u2018violence, rioting, and insurrection\u2019 in order to smear gun owners. Has the Democrat leadership actually invited violent groups to attend for the purpose of disrupting our peaceful assembly?\u201d \u2013 article<\/p>\n

Even Trump has posted a tweet on this subject, appearing to endorse that view that gun owners are under assault. In a tweet yesterday,\u00a0he wrote,<\/a>\u00a0\u201cYour 2nd Amendment is under very serious attack in the Great Commonwealth of Virginia. That\u2019s what happens when you vote for Democrats, they will take your guns away. Republicans will win Virginia in 2020. Thank you Dems!\u201d<\/p>\n

On a side note, there is more violence going on on Chicago\u2019s South Side from the use of illegally obtained guns than anything KKK Northam could dream of, and it is slowly creeping out of the \u2018hood to the rest of the city. \u00a0Saturday night, a man walking his dog around 11:30PM on the far north side was shot in the hip. He said he heard four shots and then felt a pain in his hip. He is recovering in a hospital.<\/p>\n

Making guns illegal to own and\/or restricting them is not going to stop violence of any kind. That is not being addressed at all, nor will it ever be, simply because violence can be committed with any object, and the fools who want to restrict your constitutional rights know it. Their goal is to destroy your rights, not to keep you safe from anything.<\/p>\n

When you start nattering on about your personally-owned weaponry and how much ammo you have tucked away, that is not the point of this article.\u00a0 The aim of the Democrats is to discard the US Constitution because it is “outdated”, and then have everything their way.\u00a0 If you don’t get that from the media’s hysterics and idiotic reports about guns and gun violence, you aren’t paying attention.<\/p>\n

It does not have to be a gun that is the instrument of violence.<\/strong><\/p>\n

On a side note, Bloomberg has spent hundreds of millions of his own cash hoard to influence elections and get people he approves of elected to office in various states. This gun rights issue is one result. He got a fool elected to the Virginia governor’s office and now he’s rubbing his pansy hands together in glee. If he can do anything to buy the presidential election and run things his way behind the scenes, he will cough up the cash to do it. I suggest we all help him go broke.<\/p>\n
