Clerk Fatally Shoots Robbery Suspect at Bay Point Market<\/strong>
\nSurveillance footage captured the armed suspect pistol-whip the clerk and grab cash out of the register before being shot<\/em><\/p>\n

\nA military veteran working as a clerk at a Bay Point market fatally shot an armed robbery suspect late Sunday night after being pistol-whipped in a violent attack caught on camera.<\/p>\n

Mark Kasprowicz was working behind the counter at Kam’s Market around 11 p.m. when two masked suspects entered the business. One suspect went to the back of the market and held an employee at gunpoint while the other suspect \u2014 armed with a semi-automatic handgun \u2014 went behind the counter, pistol-whipped Kasprowicz and started pulling cash out of a register.<\/p>\n

“At first I thought it was a joke,” Kasprowicz said. “Two seconds later, I realized it was real. He pushed me to the ground, to my knees and everything.”<\/p>\n

When Kasprowicz reached for a gun in a drawer next to the register, the suspect attacked him again and the two struggled over the gun. As they wrestled on the ground, the suspect’s gun went off. The suspect immediately took off running and Kasprowicz opened fire.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Fresno store owner acted in self-defense when he killed 2 robbery suspects, police say<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nFRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) — Fresno police believe the smoke shop owner who killed two of three robbers at his store did everything under the law.<\/p>\n

Late Friday night, just minutes before closing, the Smoke N Vape shop clerk saw a nightmare walk in.<\/p>\n

“Three suspects, all wearing dark clothing and hoodies and masked up with masks or cloth type material, had entered the location to rob it and at least one of those suspects was armed with a handgun,” said Lt. Larry Bowlan.<\/p>\n

Three masked suspects burst in. Only one of them got away.<\/p>\n

Fresno police say the man with the gun pointed it at the clerk and held him on the ground at gunpoint, while the other two robbers stole cash and merchandise.<\/p>\n

But just as they wrapped up, the store’s owner came back.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Fatal shooting outside DeKalb gas station was justified, police say<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nA weekend shooting that left a man dead outside a DeKalb County gas station was justified, and the gunman will not face charges, police said. <\/p>\n

According to an incident report obtained Monday by AJC.com, authorities got to the Texaco on Gresham Road just before 7 p.m. Saturday and found 22-year-old Brian Jackson-Swinney face down with a gunshot wound to the head. He was pronounced dead on the scene. <\/p>\n

According to the report, the shooter approached one of the responding officers and said, \u201cI\u2019m the one who shot him.\u201d Without prompting, he put his hands in the air and told the officer he had a gun in his right pocket, which the official retrieved. <\/p>\n

The gunman said he was parked at a gas pump when a black Toyota Camry pulled up next to him. Three men, including the victim, got out of the Camry. <\/p>\n

The shooter called Jackson-Swinney over to his purple Dodge Charger, where he was selling cologne. The Camry\u2019s other occupants were headed toward the gas station\u2019s convenience store when Jackson-Swinney called them back. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n
