The Democrats want to impeach President Trump based on an argument that erroneously assumes that President Trump “blackmailed” Ukraine. Their party is looking to support the very man that did what they’re accusing Trump of doing. (r\/The_Donald)<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Jill Biden is claiming that President Trump’s “attacks” on the Biden family is “proof” that Donald Trump is afraid to go against Joe Biden. She makes it sound as if the president is lobbing personal attacks preemptively and “in desperation”.<\/p>\n

These “attacks” happen to be President Trump’s mentioning Hunter Biden and his getting paid by Burisma Holdings. There’s also that video floating around showing Joe Biden bragging about how he got a prosecutor fired… A prosecutor that was investigating Burisma. Jill Biden is comparing the Biden response to this as “parents coming to the defense of their children”.<\/p>\n

“But we never could have imagined that it would turn into, that Donald Trump would be asking a foreign government to get involved in our elections<\/strong><\/span>, and I think, you know, Donald Trump has shown us who he is, and this has been a real distraction,” she continued. “And I think it just proves that he’s afraid to run against my husband, Joe Biden<\/span><\/strong>.”<\/p>\n

Trump has made Hunter Biden, the Bidens’ son, a focal point of his impeachment defense. Trump asked Ukraine to investigate the Bidens over unfounded corruption allegations linked to Hunter Biden’s work for a natural gas company that was under investigation.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Notice how they say “unfounded”. If that were the case, why would Joe Biden claim that his staff did not notify him of this fact? A reading of the transcript of the phone call shows that President Trump asked a legitimate request. There is a\u00a0 good chance that U.S. law was violated, the US side could use the results of the investigation to pursue justice.<\/p>\n
