Dallas Pizza Delivery Driver Shoots, Kills 15-Year-Old Armed Suspect Who Tried To Rob Him<\/strong><\/p>\n DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) \u2013 For the second time this week, a delivery driver was attacked in northeast Dallas. This time, however, the delivery driver fired at the suspects, killing one and critically injuring another.<\/p>\n Police said the shooting happened at around 10 p.m. Tuesday in the 8100 block of Southwestern Boulevard near Greenville Avenue.<\/p>\n According to police, two 15-year-old suspects allegedly tried to rob the Papa John\u2019s pizza delivery driver at gunpoint, but the driver had a gun and shot at them to fend them off. Police said he was licensed to carry.<\/p>\n Police said two of the suspects were shot and that one of them died from his injuries. The other was treated at the hospital.<\/p>\n The surviving suspect was taken into custody and charged with aggravated robbery. He had multiple gunshot wounds, including one to the neck, police said.<\/p>\n The boy\u2019s name was not released. Police had made no arrests as of Wednesday.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n 0 \/ 0 \/ 2 Man saves his dog from attacking dog with gunshot, also shoots fellow owner<\/strong> MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. \u2013 A 74-year-old man turned to gunfire to save his dog from being attacked by another dog.<\/p>\n Manuel Alen was walking his Jack Russel mix, Little Paco, on the same familiar path they\u2019ve taken for the last 11 years when a large black lab named Claire attacked the dog out of nowhere.<\/p>\n \u201cBefore I could even react, (the dog) grabbed him by the belly and was shaking him like a rag doll,\u201d Manuel said.<\/p>\n Manuel, who carries his permitted firearm for self-defense, pulled out his gun and shot the black lab.<\/p>\n \u201cHe was killing my dog,\u201d Manuel said.<\/p>\n Valeria Rodriguez, Claire\u2019s owner, reacted by barreling toward Alen, he said.<\/p>\n \u201cShe came at me and I was fearing, because it was not just her,\u201d Alen said. \u201cThere was a lot of people there.\u201d<\/p>\n Alen fired his gun again, striking Rodriguez in her abdomen.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
