Intruder, resident killed in Clarksville home invasion<\/strong><\/p>\n Holly Meyer The home invasion happened at about 11:45 p.m. An altercation occured and shots were fired, killing one resident and one intruder, who was wearing a mask, police said. They were both pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n An unknown number of adults had already left the house by the time officers arrived.<\/p>\n The investigation is ongoing.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n 2 \/ 0 \/ ? Report: Would-be thief flees when Cope woman fires shots<\/strong><\/p>\n By MARTHA ROSE BROWN The woman called deputies at 12:33 p.m. Thursday after she heard someone knock on the door of her Ember Drive home.<\/p>\n She then checked on her surveillance cameras and saw a male with a blue sedan.<\/p>\n She said the man stood in her yard as if he was checking to see if anyone was at home.<\/p>\n A moment later, the man appeared to be underneath her 1996 white Ford Econoline van.<\/p>\n The woman \u201cfelt as if she needed to take action,\u201d the incident report states.<\/p>\n She walked out of her front door and shot her Hi-Point 9mm handgun toward the man\u2019s direction.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n 0 \/ 0 \/ 1 UPDATE Sharlee Jacobs Upon arriving at a residence off of La Hwy 35 South deputies confirmed that a W\/M subject had been shot and was deceased.<\/p>\n The deceased was later identified as Landon Blake Hebert (dob 6\/21\/89) of Iota, La. Detectives with the Sheriff\u2019s Department processed the scene and brought the complainant in for questioning.<\/p>\n From information gathered, it appears that Hebert made entry into the sidence on La Hwy 35 South, where he encountered the home owner. The home owner fired a weapon and fatally struck Hebert.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
\nTwo men are dead after a Friday night home invasion in Clarksville.
\nMultiple adults and two children were at the house in the 1000 block of Dandelion Drive when at least two men entered through an unlocked door, the Clarksville Police Department said in a Saturday post on Facebook.<\/p>\n
