The Armed Citizen\u00ae <\/strong><\/p>\n by NRA Staff 1 \/ 0 \/ 1 FL: Florida Woman, 8 Months Pregnant, Uses AR-15 to Fatally Shoot Armed Intruder<\/strong> By: Bob D\u2019Angelo According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, the home invasion occurred Wednesday at 9 p.m. in Lithia, a suburb 25 miles southeast of Tampa.<\/p>\n Jeremy King said two masked men with guns entered his residence, pointing guns at him and his daughter and demanding money, BayNews 9 reported.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve got a fractured eye socket, a fractured sinus cavity, a concussion, 20 stitches and three staples in my head,\u201d King told the television station. \u201cI took a severe beating.\u201d<\/p>\n While King said he was being attacked, his wife, who is eight months pregnant, entered the room with an AR-15 and fatally shot one of the men, WFLA reported. The two men fled, but the man shot collapsed in a ditch and died, according to the Sheriff’s Office.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n 1 \/ 0 \/ 1 Police: \u2018Domestic situation\u2019 leads to man\u2019s deadly shooting in east side home<\/strong><\/p>\n INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. \u2013 A man was shot to death Monday following what police call a violent domestic disturbance.<\/p>\n According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD), officers were dispatched to a home in the 2600 block of Kay Ellen Drive just before 7 a.m. The neighborhood is just east of 25th and Post on Indy’s east side.<\/p>\n When police arrived they found a man was shot to death inside the home. He was pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n Friends and witnesses who live in the home say an ex-boyfriend broke into the house and tried to kill his ex-girlfriend. \nTwo men allegedly impersonating FBI agents attempted to force their way into an Espa\u00f1ola, N.M., apartment around 4 a.m. One intruder was armed with what was later discovered to be a pellet gun with a laser pointer taped to the top of it. The homeowner announced several times that he was armed. After the intruder with the gun entered the apartment living room, the homeowner fired, fatally striking him. The intruder, a 31-year-old man, was later transported to the hospital where he died. The other suspect fled the scene and has yet to be identified. The armed citizen was not charged.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
