Teen burglars shot at a Tri-City man defending a neighbor\u2019s house. He fired back<\/strong><\/p>\n By Cameron Probert <\/p>\n Kennewick police are hunting for a pair of teens who traded bullets with a man after they burglarized his neighbor\u2019s house. <\/p>\n Miguel Barajas, 29, was at home on the 3300 block of South Gum Street about 4:20 p.m. Tuesday when he heard a loud crash next door and thought someone was breaking in.<\/p>\n He grabbed a gun and went to check, Kennewick police said. <\/p>\n As he walked toward the house, he spotted two boys, who looked like they were about 16 to 18 years old, dash out of the house. They got into a tan or gray Honda sedan and drove toward Barajas. <\/p>\n The sedan slowly approached him and one teen fired a shot at him, and Barajas fired back, said police.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n 0 \/ 0 \/ 2 Gun reportedly fired at State Route 380 home intruder<\/strong><\/p>\n Clinton County deputies and a tracking dog did not immediately locate a suspect who was reported to be inside a State Route 380 residence Thursday before exiting via a window after a gun was fired at him.<\/p>\n It is not known whether the intruder was struck by a bullet, said Clinton County Chief Deputy Brian Prickett.<\/p>\n The area was searched and a law enforcement canine did a track, but as of 4:15 p.m. Thursday the suspect had not been found, Prickett said.<\/p>\n The suspect is described as a white male wearing blue jeans and a white top.<\/p>\n The sheriff\u2019s office will continue to investigate the incident, said Prickett.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n 0 \/ 0 \/ 1 Gun deal gone bad’ leads to shooting in Meridian<\/strong><\/p>\n By Bianca Moorman Meridian Police Chief Benny Dubose said police responded to a shooting at 8:31 p.m. Thursday on the 4700 block of 8th Street in Meridian and found two men had been shot. One victim was shot in the torso and the other was shot in the face, Dubose said. The victims were taken to two separate hospitals in separate vehicles, Dubose said. The injuries are non-life threatening, Dubose said.<\/p>\n At the location, the seller tried to rob the buyer, Dubose said. Gunshots were fired that resulted in the buyer getting shot in the torso, Dubose said. The seller did not get shot, but a person with the seller was shot in the face, Dubose said. <\/p>\n The incident was a gun deal gone wrong, investigators said. One of the victims, the buyer, saw an advertisement on social media for a firearm and agreed to meet the seller at a location in the 4700 block of 8th Street.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
