Teen burglars shot at a Tri-City man defending a neighbor\u2019s house. He fired back <\/strong> Kennewick police are hunting for a pair of teens who traded bullets with a man after they burglarized his neighbor\u2019s house. <\/p>\n Miguel Barajas, 29, was at home on the 3300 block of South Gum Street about 4:20 p.m. Tuesday when he heard a loud crash next door and thought someone was breaking in.<\/p>\n He grabbed a gun and went to check, Kennewick police said. <\/p>\n As he walked toward the house, he spotted two boys, who looked like they were about 16 to 18 years old, dash out of the house. <\/p>\n They got into a tan or gray Honda sedan and drove toward Barajas.<\/p>\n The sedan slowly approached him and one teen fired a shot at him, and Barajas fired back, said police.<\/p>\n Barajas wasn\u2019t hit.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n 0 \/ 0 \/ 2 Tulsa Police: Construction Worker Shoots, Kills Attacker<\/strong> TULSA, Oklahoma – Detectives are investigating a deadly shooting at a construction site near 13th and Detroit.<\/p>\n Officers said the victim was sitting inside his truck getting the construction site ready for the day when a man carrying a piece of rebar ran up and started beating on the vehicle. When the man tried to get inside, the construction worker told police he pulled out a gun and fired because he was in fear for his life.<\/p>\n Police say the attacker died at the scene.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n 1 \/ 0 \/ 0 Man shot by security guard at east Las Vegas Valley apartments<\/strong> A security guard shot a man in the arm on Halloween night at an east Las Vegas Valley apartment complex, police said.<\/p>\n The guard was patrolling Tamarus Park Apartments, at 4255 Tamarus St. near Maryland Parkway and Flamingo Road, and saw a man who had previously trespassed there, Metropolitan Police Department Lt. Ken Nogle said.<\/p>\n That man then drove toward the guard, who fired at the car, Nogle said.<\/p>\n The security guard called 911 to report the shooting about 7:50 p.m. Thursday, Nogle said. The man drove away and walked into a hospital with a gunshot wound, Nogle added.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
