He provided information to others, who used this private information to steal millions.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">From Fox News:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Appearing before U.S. Magistrate Judge Richard Farrer in San Antonio Tuesday, he pleaded guilty to <span style=\"color: #000000;\">one count of <\/span><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">conspiracy to commit wire fraud<\/span><\/strong>, and one count of <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">conspiracy to launder monetary instruments<\/span><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>He admitted that between July 2014 and September 2015, <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">he stole the personal identifying information<\/span><\/strong> of thousands of military members, <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">including their names, social security numbers, dates of birth, and contact information<\/span><\/strong>, according to a DOJ press release.<\/p>\n<p>Brown said he gave this data to a man named Robert Wayne Boling Jr., which Boling and others exploited in various ways <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">to access Department of Defense and Veterans Affairs benefits sites and to steal millions of dollars<\/span><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Boling, a U.S. citizen, conspired with Philippines-based co-defendants &#8212; Australian citizen Allan Albert Kerr and South Korean citizen Jongmin Seok &#8212; to use the stolen information to unlawfully access benefits information online from a DOD portal, the DOJ said. <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">The benefits information allegedly enabled the men to compromise military members&#8217; bank accounts and veterans&#8217; benefits payments<\/span><\/strong>.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>This was a scheme that also involved an Australian and South Korean.
