There are several news stories talking about Conan, the military working dog wounded in the raid in Syria that killed terrorist Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.\u00a0 It was announced that the dog will be visiting the White House soon.<\/p>\n

After a military dog cornered the Islamic State\u2019s leader in a tunnel in northern Syria on Saturday, U.S. officials repeatedly\u00a0insisted that his identity remain secret. The dog was slightly wounded when Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi killed himself with an explosive, they said, and revealing his name before he recovered and returned home could reveal too much about his classified unit in the Army\u2019s Delta Force.<\/p>\n

The dog is apparently still in the Middle East, but his identity is no longer an official secret.<\/p>\n

Early on Thursday morning, Trump confirmed on Twitter\u00a0<\/a>reports that\u00a0the \u201ctalented dog\u201d is named Conan\u00a0\u2014 and said he\u2019s headed to the White House next week.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
