Dutch farmers protest the Brussels-centered EU\u2019s mandates on nitrogen sources and use.\u00a0\u00a0https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/europe\/2019\/10\/01\/dutch-farmers-in-mass-protest-against-green-fascism\/<\/a> They have the full support of the Dutch people, as you’ll see in the links below.<\/p>\n That was at the beginning of October this year. It all has to do with nitrogen, a natural chemical element which is vital to healthy plant growth, and how it is damaging the environment because COW FART EMISSIONS!!! This shows a complete lack of understanding of plant life, period.<\/p>\n So the Dutch farmers, not willing to submit to mandates by a bunch of old f**rts in Brussels over there in Belgium, took to the roads with their tractors, not just once, but a second time.<\/p>\n https:\/\/wattsupwiththat.com\/2019\/10\/17\/furious-farmers-defy-army-roadblocks-in-dutch-anti-green-protest\/<\/a><\/p>\n And still not happy with the response from the government in The Hague, and being unwilling to take direction from the EU\u2019s capital\u00a0 of Brussels, in Belgium, they rolled again, this time backed up by truckers and people along the way, coming and going, who gave them the \u201cthumbs up\u201d and held up signs \u201cWe LOVE Farmers!\u201d. \u00a0The following is a summary of the three protests. I particularly appreciate the image of straw being blown out of a grain combine\u2019s funnel stack at the police. ? But that\u2019s just me.\u00a0 https:\/\/wattsupwiththat.com\/2019\/10\/20\/thread-about-the-recent-farmer-protests-in-the-nl\/<\/a><\/p>\n In the comments in the third post, you\u2019ll see a link to a video of ecohipppies who decided to hold an anti-fracking protest on private land. The landowner sprayed the spot that the protesters had set up on HIS land as a response. His spray of choice was liquified cow shit, which is a natural fertilizer. The local police stood by and watched and let it go on. I have seldom been so happy to see someone use cow shit quite like that. ?<\/p>\n In case you\u2019re having some difficulty sorting out the meaning of this, it says, plainly, that people at the working end of the stick \u2013 farmers, office workers, people who run shops, working people in general \u2013 are fed up to their chins with these hypocritical ecohippies who not only think that food comes from \u201cthe store\u201d, but don\u2019t have a real grasp on the natural world itself. And as George Carlin said, they don’t really care about the planet or the environment. Not in the abstract, they don’t.<\/p>\n How is this relevant to us? Farming is where your food comes from, whether you’re a civilian or in the military. It doesn’t just fall out of the sky or sit quietly in the reefer.<\/p>\n The ecohippies howl about species disappearing or going extinct, but if you asked them to name them, they can\u2019t. They want a \u201cgreen world\u201d, which they can\u2019t define, but have no concept of the real<\/em> green world. Nor can they name any species of plant, useful or otherwise, or its origins. Basically, they can\u2019t tell a sugar pea vine from a morning glory, or a sunflower from a compass plant. Nor do they have any understanding of the severe fire danger in leaving wooded areas untouched and not thinned out.<\/p>\n That was a problem around here until the DNR took matters into its own hands and started cutting back and thinning trees in heavily wooded areas, because they represent a real fire hazard to local communities. Nobody here protested that. The result now is that the spindly, skinny trees that were getting inadequate sunlight and were struggling to get near the tops of the older trees are now getting adequate and badly needed rain and sunshine and the underbrush no longer represents a fire hazard to surrounding areas.<\/p>\n There is a constant demand for money-money-money by the IPCC, a nongoverning branch of the nongoverning UN, which the US is not answering as it is not put to any use that we can\u2019t address ourselves. This resistance to forking it over with no questions is starting to grow, too. Anyone who would cave into that kind of blackmail needs to be handed his walking paper. I believe that, a while back, there was someone in WDC who did cave into it.<\/p>\n I\u2019m glad to see that the real working people are responding appropriately to these groups of slacker twits, not just here but also in the UK and in the Netherlands.
