Second deadly home invasion in 24 hours leaves intruder in Fayetteville dead, another at large<\/strong><\/p>\n By Jason O. Boyd Police said they responded to the 400 block of Lands End Road around 6:48 p.m. to a report of a shooting. They said two men forced open the front door to the home. One of them was armed with a gun. The homeowner got his gun and exchanged gunfire with the two men.<\/p>\n Police found a man whom they believe to be one of the intruders with gunshot wounds. Jensen Rojas-Marrero died at the scene. A second man fled the house and is still being sought.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n 1 \/ 0 \/ 1 Would-Be Car Burglar Held at Gunpoint for Craig Troopers<\/strong><\/p>\n Alaska State Troopers responded to Port Saint Nicholas Road in Craig after receiving a call reporting a man being held at gunpoint at that location early Friday morning, AST reported today.<\/p>\n The caller reported that her husband was holding down a suspect at gunpoint this morning after he caught the suspect, later identified by troopers as 21-year-old Jacob Moser, \u201cbreaking into their vehicle.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n 0 \/ 1 \/ 0<\/p>\n Suspect Shot While Trying To Rob Group Of People At Dallas Apartment Complex<\/strong><\/p>\n A suspect was shot in the chest while trying to rob a group of people at an apartment complex in Dallas late Wednesday evening, police say.<\/p>\n Police responded to the shooting at around 10 p.m. in the 1600 block of John West Road. When they arrived, they found the male suspect with a gunshot wound to his chest. He was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive.<\/p>\n According to police, the suspect was trying to rob a group of people and fired several shots in the air. Police say someone who wasn\u2019t part of the group grabbed a shotgun and shot the suspect.<\/p>\n Police say they found a gun on the suspect when they got to the scene.<\/p>\n Police have not found the person who shot the suspect but say they are not expected to face charges.<\/p>\n The suspect was also involved in another robbery in South Dallas before he was shot, according to police. His identity has not yet been released.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
\nFayetteville police reported a home invasion Thursday evening that left one intruder dead and another at large after being shot by the homeowner. It comes less than 24 hours after another home invasion in the county.<\/p>\n
