Wife shoots back at suspects robbing her husband during medical marijuana sale<\/strong><\/p>\n Detroit police are investigating a shooting that injured at least one person on the city’s east side. <\/p>\n It happened in the 19300 block of Algonac, which is near Seven Mile and Outer Drive, at a home where the victim is a medical marijuana caregiver. <\/p>\n Police say two suspects were allowed into the home to purchase marijuana, but then one of them tried to rob the homeowner and fired several shots at him. <\/p>\n The homeowner was hit, and his wife saw what was happening and shot back at the suspects. <\/p>\n The suspects were able to escape from the home and it’s not known right now if either of them were hurt. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n 0 \/ 1 \/ 2 Police: 1 dead in self-defense shooting in Lake Charles casino robbery <\/strong><\/p>\n One person is dead following a casino robbery in Lake Charles on Thursday. Police say it was self-defense.<\/p>\n The Lake Charles Police Department was assigned to EZ Aces Truck Stop located on the I-10 Service Road at 5:00 am in reference to a robbery.<\/p>\n Upon arrival, it was discovered that two people had been shot; one fatally, according to Lieutenant Jeffrey Keenum, spokesperson for the Lake Charles Police Dept.<\/p>\n Police say the two suspects were in the process of brutally attacking the victim within the casino when the victim was able to shoot them.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n 1 \/1 \/ 0 Passenger shoots man who attempted to steal girlfriend’s vehicle in Walgreens parking lot <\/strong><\/p>\n By Jeff Ehling Deputies say the attempted carjacking happened in a Walgreens parking lot near Antoine and Gulf Bank around 8:30 p.m.<\/p>\n The man told deputies he was sitting inside of his girlfriend’s vehicle when another man opened the driver’s side door, sat down and then told him to get out of the vehicle.<\/p>\n “They sit in a vehicle or they just walk through hiding, looking for somebody who is in a vehicle to carjack them, or they wait until they come out to carjack them. Be extremely aware of your surroundings,” Harris County Sheriff’s deputy K.W. Cote said.<\/p>\n Deputies say the attempted carjacker appeared to have a gun and pointed it at the man, telling him to get out of the vehicle.<\/p>\n While exiting the vehicle, the victim pulled out his own gun and shot the carjacker in the stomach.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n 0 \/ 1 \/ 0 Today’s score, Delt Whiskies and Whiskettes, looks to be one, three, and two.
