Uncle Joe is famous for his gaffs, but lately it seems he’s drifting beyond a humorous misstep in his public appearances. His comments on how \u201cpoor kids are just as bright and just as talented as white kids\u201d during an event sponsored by the Asian & Latino Coalition PAC came off as condescending, and wasn’t helped by his \u201cWealthy kids, black kids, Asian kids,\u201d he said. \u201cNo, I really mean it, but think how we think about it\u201d follow up.
\nEarlier, he referred to shootings in Houston and Michigan instead of El Paso and Dayton, and at the end of the debate just a few weeks ago, he inexplicably told supporters to \u201cgo to Joe 30330.\u201d
\nThings are serious when a former Obama advisor like David Axelrod critiques Biden’s campaign.<\/p>\n

For him to be criticizing Biden is, as the former Vice President might say, a big f-ing deal.<\/p>\n This serves as proof that the perception of Biden as a bumbling fool is not just a right wing talking point. <\/p>\n Former Obama Adviser: Biden ‘Serially\u2019 Distorts Own Record<\/p>\n Former Obama White House adviser David Axelrod said in a tweet Thursday that Joe Biden was distorting his own record to a damaging degree.<\/p>\n Linking to a Slate article about Biden\u2019s misleading remarks about when he began opposing the Iraq War, Axelrod wrote Biden was \u201cin danger\u201d of creating a harmful meme about his candidacy.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s one thing to have a well-earned rep for goofy, harmless gaffes,\u201d Axelrod tweeted. \u201cIt\u2019s another if you serially distort your own record. @JoeBiden is in danger of creating a more damaging meme.\u201d<\/p>\n This is not an isolated incident. Axelrod went after Biden following the last Democratic debate, saying he seemed confused and defensive.<\/p>\n Joseph A. Bernie Sanders, I-VT.<\/p>\n \u201cAt times, the vice president seemed somewhat confused to me in handling some of the questions\u2026 He actually seemed a bit defensive,\u201d Axelrod continued. \u201cBernie Sanders\u2026 he might have been a hologram.
