Woman shoots intruder in a home near Daphne<\/strong><\/p>\n by: Debbie Williams The homeowner on Collier Loop Road was in the bathtub when her children heard a commotion in the front of the house. \u201cSo they go back and tell the mother that someone is in the house. They don\u2019t know who it is and they should not be in the house,\u201d says Baldwin County Sheriff\u2019s Captain Clint Cadenhead.<\/p>\n That led to a confrontation between the homeowner and a woman she knew, who used to live there. \u201cShe commands the person to get out of the house. They don\u2019t leave. She ends up getting a firearm out of the bedside table and again telling the person to leave and the information we have the person that got shot may have reached for the gun.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n 0 \/ 1 \/ 0 East Bluff Man Says He Mistook Police For Intruder The man arrested for shooting at Peoria Police on Sunday in the East Bluff \u2014 may not have been shooting at them after all.Peoria County State\u2019s Attorney Jodi Hoos says Jordan Cremer claims he did not know police were there when he fired a warning shot. Instead, he says he was trying to scare off what he thought was an intruder.<\/p>\n Ali Gude lives in the same East Bluff neighborhood. Given the crime they have seen there lately, he say\u2019s Cremer\u2019s actions were understandable. <\/p>\n \u201cThat\u2019s what we have to do, it\u2019s a lot going on around this times, with that situation you just got to think fast you know,\u201d said Gude. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n 0 \/ 1 \/ 0 Tense moments caught on video when man with a gun confronts theft suspects<\/strong><\/p>\n by: Jennifer Gardiner Workers at the business started recording the incident after noticing what appeared to be an altercation between men in a parking lot near 1700 South and 1800 West.<\/p>\n The witnesses started to yell at the men when they noticed one of them had a gun who then pointed it at a driver in a white pickup truck.<\/p>\n Salt Lake City Police Sgt. Brandon Shearer said they responded to the area and talked to the man in the Subaru who said the individuals in the white truck had stolen some tools of his from his shed.<\/p>\n The man then chased the suspects down and when he went to confront them, they pulled out a gun.
