We&#8217;ve had articles involving phony service members, phony police officers, phony emergency response, etc. Today, we have a phony lactating mother.<\/p>\n<p>Maria Domingo-Garcia was one of the illegal aliens that were rounded up in Mississippi and sent to an illegal alien processing center. She claimed that during this incident, separation from her baby prevented her from being able to provide breastfeeding care. One of her lawyers said that she is in a lot of pain because she couldn&#8217;t pump milk.<\/p>\n<p>Immigration officials disagree with her statement. During intake, mothers are asked if they are breastfeeding. Garcia apparently said, &#8220;No.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">From Washington Examiner:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>CE said they conducted a medical exam after the claims got national attention and found that she was not lactating, an indication that she was likely not breastfeeding her child when arrested days earlier.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;All ICE detainees receive medical, dental and mental health intake screening within 12 hours of arriving at each detention facility; that screening includes a woman being asked if she is breast feeding. During her initial medical screening, Ms. Domingo-Garcia answered no to that question,&#8221; ICE said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Pursuant to subsequent media reports that falsely alleged Ms. Domingo-Garcia was being detained despite being a nursing mother, an ICE Health Services Corps nurse practitioner conducted an additional medical examination of Ms. Domingo-Garcia, which verified she is not lactating,&#8221; the statement added.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>This isn&#8217;t the only problem that she&#8217;s having. She knew that she was using someone&#8217;s social security number. She was indicted in federal court for this act.
