Police: Attempted robber shot multiple times by would-be victim in self defense at Bell Road ATM<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nA Nashville teenager who attempted to rob a man at a Bell Road ATM on Tuesday night was shot multiple times and faces robbery charges, the Nashville Metro Police Department said. <\/p>\n

Kenneth K. Cathey, 19, was named as the suspect in an attempted aggravated robbery at the U.S. Bank in the 900 block of Bell Road just before 10 p.m. Tuesday. <\/p>\n

Cathey allegedly approached a man making a deposit at that location with a gun drawn. The man told police he first noticed the alleged robber, whom he does not know personally, when the teen was sitting across the parking lot wearing a red hoodie with the hood pulled tightly across his face. <\/p>\n

The man, a 25-year-old Nashville resident, opened fire in self defense, he told police. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Customer shoots man suspected of trying to rob convenience store, Lincoln police say <\/strong><\/p>\n

A 22-year-old Lincoln man went to the hospital with a gunshot wound to his left arm early Thursday after he was shot by a customer while allegedly trying to rob a convenience store at 56th and Holdrege streets.<\/p>\n

Police Chief Jeff Bliemeister said a 38-year-old woman with a concealed carry permit shot the man, who hasn\u2019t yet been arrested or identified, in the incident at 1:41 a.m.<\/p>\n

Bliemeister said there\u2019s nothing at this time to suggest the man had a weapon, although there had been an altercation between him and a 46-year-old female Kwik Shop employee.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Doorbell camera captures tense moment when armed homeowner confronts prowler<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nPROSPECT, Ky. \u2014 A homeowner in Prospect used a gun to scare off a man attempting to break into houses in the Moser Farms neighborhood Monday night.<\/p>\n

Brett King was getting into bed around 11 p.m. when he received an alert on his phone from a motion-sensing camera on the side of his house. The camera captured a man, wearing a hooded sweatshirt, trying the handle of King’s side door.<\/p>\n

“Alert pops up, clicked on it, and there’s a man walking down my driveway,” King said.<\/p>\n

King said he got up immediately, grabbed his pistol and went out to his driveway. He said he saw the man running toward his neighbor’s open garage.<\/p>\n

“I yelled at him. He turned around, saw me, and he was in a hoodie, covered up anyway. He ducks his head and starts heading towards his car. So, I start approaching the car and yelling at him to stop,” King said.<\/p>\n

King said he brandished the gun and the man got into a running car that was parked on the street and sped off. King said he believes the firearm is what scared the suspect off.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
