Les Brown<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

We have previously written about Les Brown<\/a> and his service claims here: https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/?p=89053<\/a><\/p>\n

To recap, Les Brown is the Commander of the POW*MIA Elko Awareness Association<\/a> in Elko Nevada.<\/p>\n

We have not heard a peep out of ol’ Les in his own defense.<\/p>\n

It seems that Tom Wulf<\/a>, the Vice Commander has mounted a strong defense of his Commander and jumped both feet into the discussion.<\/p>\n

Wulf stated that the National Personnel Records Center results are not valid because he is an expert on DD-214s. He further claims that he wants to see something he calls the “Classified DD-214” before he will be convinced.<\/p>\n

This is an odd request.\u00a0 If Mr. Wulf is an expert as he claims, he would have to know that this is an impossible request because it is completely fabricated misnomer.\u00a0 Not sure why he stopped there – he could have required that it be delivered by someone riding a unicorn.<\/p>\n

In any case, one of our research ninjas came up with Lester Kent Brown\u2019s DD 214 from 1992 when he went on Active Duty for about nine (9) days as part of ‘Operation Garden Plot.’<\/p>\n

This DD214 is publicly available information.\u00a0 Brown signed and submitted this document in 1999 to Elko County, Nevada.<\/p>\n

Per policy, we do not post documents such as this because there is not a clean, verifiable chain of custody as we would get from the National Personnel Records Center (NPRC).\u00a0 However, it appears that this document accurately reflects what is on Brown’s NPRC Summary Sheet.\u00a0 Therefore, this would be the last DD-214 issued to him since they do not issue DD-214s at the conclusion of drilling reservist service – only active duty.<\/p>\n

Looks as if he made SPC (E4) in 1989.<\/p>\n

As you can see, NO Combat Infantryman Badge (CIB).\u00a0 Also, NO Ranger\/Airborne\/Special Forces Training listed on his DD214.<\/p>\n

We doubt very seriously that he went to Airborne School\/Ranger School or Special Forces Training AFTER 1992\u2026 meaning, he claims to have retired in 1998, which means he would have done all that training in a 6-year time span.<\/p>\n

I’m going to go with “I DON’T THINK SO” for $200.<\/p>\n

The US Army does not<\/strong> send folks to Airborne School\/Ranger School at Benning unless there is a need.<\/p>\n

Disclaimer:\u00a0 This document was NOT<\/strong> posted for Mr. Wulf’s benefit.\u00a0 As the Vice-Commander, Wulf has offered nothing but hot air in his defense of his Commander.\u00a0 It was posted for the benefit of the civilians in Elko Nevada who are still somewhat in doubt about Brown’s claims.<\/p>\n

The POW*MIA Elko Awareness Association<\/a> has scheduled an emergency meeting for Wed evening the 24th of July 2019.\u00a0 Can’t imagine what it’s about.\u00a0 Someone asked whether it could be live-streamed on Facebook.<\/p>\n

Now THAT would be entertaining and would probably break Facebook.<\/p>\n
