To him, they represent longing and hope \u2013 hope to see his hometown again some day.<\/p>\n<p>He says \u201cThe homesickness is real.\u201d\u00a0 He can see the mountains and fields of Pyongyang from the northernmost border spot where he and his son launched a pigeon to fly back home with a message. Perhaps some day, he&#8217;ll see his hometown again.
