{"id":88565,"date":"2019-07-02T19:04:33","date_gmt":"2019-07-02T23:04:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/valorguardians.com\/blog\/?p=88565"},"modified":"2019-07-02T19:11:36","modified_gmt":"2019-07-02T23:11:36","slug":"not-guilty","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/?p=88565","title":{"rendered":"NOT GUILTY!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/SOC-Gallagher-and-Mrs.-G-e1560030004412.jpg\" alt=\"Eddie G and Mrs G\" \/><\/strong><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Navy SEAL Edward Gallagher found not guilty on murder and attempted murder charges<\/strong><\/h3>\n<blockquote><p>By By Vandana Rambaran<br \/>\nA jury found\u00a0decorated\u00a0Navy SEAL Edward &#8220;Eddie&#8221; Gallagher\u00a0not guilty Tuesday on almost all charges he was facing, including murder and attempted murder, in the killing of a teenage Islamic State member in Iraq.<br \/>\nGallagher was accused of stabbing to death a 15-year-old ISIS fighter\u00a0in 2017 and posing with the corpse for photos.<\/p>\n<p>He faced seven criminal charges in all. Six of the most serious charges included\u00a0premeditated murder, willfully discharging a firearm to endanger human life, retaliation against members of his platoon for reporting his alleged actions, obstruction of justice\u00a0and the attempted murders of two noncombatants.
