\nDetroit police are investigating a shooting on the city’s southwest side. According to police, a teen attempted to rob a 15-year-old and shot him in the process. The father then shot the teen gunman.<\/em><\/p>\n

The incident happened Thursday evening in the 20400 block of Honorah.<\/p>\n

According to a preliminary investigation, a 15-year-old attempted to rob another 15-year-old. The attempted robber then shot the 15-year-old victim.<\/p>\n

The father of the victim, a 36-year-old man, then fatally shot the 15-year-old alleged robber.<\/p>\n

The father is now being detained at the scene. His son was transported to a local hospital where his condition is unknown. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Police: Man shoots at iPhone snatcher after LetGo meetup goes wrong<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nFORT PIERCE \u2014 A man told police he ducked for cover behind a brick building after exchanging shots with one of three men who showed up to buy a cell phone from him. <\/p>\n

Fort Pierce police are looking for the three men suspected in connection with the shoot-out that took place between 7:15 and 8:30 p.m. in the 400 block of North 16th Street Monday, according to a police report.<\/p>\n

Police said they talked with a visibly shaken 40-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman who told them they had arranged through the LetGo app to sell an iPhone XS to a buyer who changed meeting places from an address on North 18th Street to North 16th Street.<\/p>\n

The LetGo app is an online marketplace for buying and selling items locally.<\/p>\n

The man and woman said in the report that when they arrived at the new location, they were met by three men in front of a pink house.<\/p>\n

They told officers the person they thought they were meeting said he needed to take a few pictures and told them he needed to ask his mother \u201cif he could get the phone.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Security guard justified in shooting man at Cedarwood Towers in Rochester<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nRochester, NY (WROC) \u2013 A grand jury has ruled that a security guard at an apartment complex in Rochester was justified when he shot a man in January.<\/p>\n

The shooting happened at Cedarwood Towers on East Main Street.<\/p>\n

The security guard shot Bradley Thomas after Thomas began fighting and threatening others, including the guard. Thomas later died from his injuries.<\/p>\n

The security guard\u2019s name has not been released.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
