Video shows customer attack Holly Springs laundromat employee<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nHOLLY SPRINGS, Miss. \u2013 People come to The Clothes Basket on Highway 7 in Holly Springs to clean their clothes, but Sheri McClatchy\u2019s job is to keep the laundromat itself clean.<\/p>\n

\u201cNever had any trouble at all. Never a cross word with anybody for two years,\u201d McClatchy said.<\/p>\n

But what happened Friday just after noon went beyond cross words. Surveillance cameras captured a female customer attacking McClatchy following a conversation McClatchy had with two other customers.<\/p>\n

McClatchy said she was reminding two women not to overload the washing machines.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat we can\u2019t refund if you\u2019re overloading the washers,\u201d McClatchy said.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s when she said another customer butted in with a lecture about how the laundromat was responsible if the machines broke.<\/p>\n

\u201cJust started telling me how she was a law student,\u201d McClatchy said.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt had nothing to do with her. She was just another customer in here using the dryer.\u201d<\/p>\n

It wasn\u2019t long before the verbal assault soon turned into a physical one. Just out of the range of a surveillance camera, McClatchy said she was slammed against some dryers.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Police: Homeowner will not be charged in intruder’s death<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nCLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. (FOX 5 Atlanta) – A homeowner shoots and kills a home invader in Clayton County Friday morning.<\/p>\n

It happened along Jenni Circle near Jonesboro. The homeowner told police he woke up to a loud banging on his front door.<\/p>\n

The homeowner said the intruder then broke a window reached through an unlocked the door and came inside.<\/p>\n

“The subject managed to gain entry to the door, and then gain entry into the house. Once he gained entry into the house he was shot,” Clayton County Police Major Anthony Thuman said. <\/p>\n

Clayton County Police said the homeowner grabbed a rifle to defend himself and fired several shots.<\/p>\n

The suspect, identified as 18-year-old Jayven Jackson, later died at the hospital.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Concealed carry holder shoots back, wounds 2 gunmen in Chicago<\/strong><\/p>\n

CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) – A concealed carry holder shot back at two gunman Friday, hitting them both in a South Side Englewood shooting that hurt three people.<\/p>\n

The license holder was seated in a vehicle about 2:15 p.m. when at least two men came up and started shooting, Chicago police said.<\/p>\n

The gunfire hit a 22-year-old man standing outside the man\u2019s car in the 6200 block of South Justine, police said. The concealed carry holder stepped out of the vehicle, took out his own weapon and shot two men.<\/p>\n

One of those men was critically wounded with gunshot wounds to his groin and ankles, police said. The 20-year-old was rushed to Mt. Sinai Hospital<\/p>\n

The other alleged shooter was shot in the buttocks and grazed in his arms and head, police said. The 25-year-old\u2019s condition was stabilized at Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
