Police: Woman shoots ex-boyfriend as he breaks into her house in East Price Hill<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nCINCINNATI \u2014 Police are investigating after a woman allegedly shot her ex-boyfriend who was trying to break into her house through a window Thursday in East Price Hill.<\/p>\n

The incident took place around 5 a.m. on the 2500 block of Ring Place.<\/p>\n

Police said the ex-boyfriend kicked out the AC unit and tried to break through the front window.<\/p>\n

Police said the woman who shot her ex-boyfriend had a protection order against him and had a license to carry. Her five kids were upstairs at the time, police said.<\/p>\n

Police said the homeowner and the man she shot have a long, violent past.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Pastor, wife kill intruder in their home near River Oaks, police say<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nHOUSTON \u2014 A Houston pastor and his wife shot and killed a man who broke into their home late Saturday night, Houston police say.<\/p>\n

Jeff Powers and his wife told police they were awakened by noises coming from their backyard. Police say they saw a man in their backyard, who forced his way inside the residence in the 6100 block of Del Monte, near River Oaks.<\/p>\n

Powers and his wife opened fire on the suspect and he was struck by at least one bullet. <\/p>\n

The unidentified man was pronounced dead by Houston firefighters.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Suspect in custody after carjacking a vehicle on westbound 202 in Phoenix <\/strong><\/p>\n

\nPHOENIX, AZ (3TV\/CBS 5) — A man is in custody after police say he carjacked a vehicle on the freeway, causing westbound Loop 202 to be closed at 32nd Street in Phoenix Wednesday morning. <\/p>\n

According to Sgt. Tommy Thompson with Phoenix police, it all started at about 8 a.m. when the suspect, later identified as 36-year-old Carl Corder, was on foot on the freeway. Thompson said Corder started pounding on the hood of a car and got into a fight with the driver. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Lesueur says the suspect took off nearly running him over, so he opened fire.<\/p>\n
