We should get into real estate given our ability to live in multiple heads rent free. Not surprising, considering how many of these individuals come here to get their rear ends handed to them.<\/p>\n

You would be surprised at the kind of hate mail we get in our inbox. Some of these cause us, at TAH HQ, to enter a discussion on what to do with such statements. It’s like being the gatekeepers to a double gate\/wall system that prevents zombies from getting in.<\/p>\n

One occasionally gets past the outer defenses to the inner one, but we still prevent said individual from making it “live” on the blog.<\/p>\n

To give you an idea of what we see coming across our desk, here’s a sanitized quote that we refused to approve for display:<\/p>\n

Butt Sphincter says:<\/b><\/p>\n

Site was shut down maybe because [TAH member] was a pedophile. Arrested in Virginia for forcible sexual contact of a minor under 13. He paid off the family as well as having his records sealed. Stole money from various accounts. Blackmailing vets to donate. Fucking pervert rot in hell. Just Google [TAH member]. You’ll see. Douchenozzle [other TAH member] is still swingin from his nuts as well as [another TAH member].<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

One thing you could see, in that quote, is someone with anger and control issues. If this individual is who we suspect he is, he did enough to be proud about. No need to add to his service history, or to make accomplishments up.<\/p>\n

Yet, he made such additions and told phony tales. He rocked these false stories and enjoyed the attention that landed his way.<\/p>\n

It wouldn’t surprise me that this kind of controlling, narcissistic like tendencies, made it hard for him to keep a job… Long enough to make something of himself. Poor judgment is something else that jumps from that quote. More on that later.<\/p>\n

Fact-checking the claims<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

If this guy’s claims were true, a simple case search, under Virginia, would back the above quote. We know that if we searched this individual’s name to check on the above claim, we’d turn up empty-handed. Why? This didn’t happen. The nonsense about “having his records sealed” is baloney. Something serious, like the above quote, would require other actions… Like registering as an offender.<\/p>\n

The reality is that no such records exist, as the alleged acts never happened. Stole money from various accounts? If that were the case, why even rattle the tin cup? Why even bother when one could simply siphon money from elsewhere?<\/p>\n

Like the assault claim, we know that this other claim didn’t happen. The member accused of such activities was law-abiding and was in no physical condition to take such actions.<\/p>\n

Blackmailing other vets? <\/span><\/p>\n

Nope, they donated voluntarily to fight stolen valor<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Veterans and those who support this site donate voluntarily. And, given the above’s underlying hope that this site would go away, something should be clear… Those who donate to this site support what this site does.<\/p>\n

Members of this community willingly fund efforts to bring the facts to bear against a phony\/embellisher. It’s like giving the phonies and embellishers the middle finger.<\/p>\n

The facts will not be silenced<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Despite this site’s temporarily going down, and despite the hiccup related to the move, community members still managed to financially support this site. We still have other members finding their way over here. Want this site to be gone? Standby to be disappointed with this site’s continuing to set the record straight.<\/p>\n

So, to the one that sent the above to us, congratulations. You managed to get some airtime.<\/p>\n

You, just like many others, want us gone. You were hoping that the funds would run dry, and the landlord would give this site the “heave-ho”. Without this site, you could go back to riding the phony pony.<\/p>\n

Time to own up to your shortcomings<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Be happy with what you’ve accomplished. There’s no shame in the fact that you didn’t accomplish the things that you claimed you accomplished.<\/p>\n

Instead of attacking this site, and members within this site, look in the mirror, and start blaming the reflection staring back at you. You brought this on yourself. You should’ve known better than to claim to be things you weren’t. But you did. There’s no reason for you to claim to have done things that you didn’t do. But you did.<\/p>\n

The first thing that you need to do is to own up to it. You know that you made the mistake. The urge, and tendency, to uphold your embellished persona reflects your control issues.<\/p>\n

Don’t let excessive pride, and control, take control of you. Take control of them. Acknowledge that you fibbed about your accomplishments. Take ownership of the fact that you did this.<\/p>\n

Then, correct the record on your end. Tell your family, friends, community, and coworkers the truth about your service. Tell them about what you previously claimed that wasn’t true. Then apologize to them.<\/p>\n

Follow that up by looking deep into yourself and by doing some soul searching. What you did in your past, that has merit, is enough to be happy about. No shame in not going further than what you actually did with regards to honorable service.<\/p>\n

Letting your rage speak to us does you no good. Implying or suggesting that we disappear and that certain members go somewhere undesirable, only gives you a false sense of control and a false sense of victory. It’s neither, and it doesn’t change anybody’s position here.<\/p>\n

It’s best to assume that the facts related to your service remain posted. Many members of this community intend to keep donating to this site to keep it going. It’s easier for you to stick to what you accomplish. It’s harder to prop a persona up that requires maintenance via embellishment.<\/p>\n

To do otherwise would simply reflect your poor judgment… The same judgment that motivated you to embellish your claims, the same judgment that caused you to post the above quote, the same judgment that may be behind your lackluster experiences in other endeavors, etc.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
