\nHARRIS COUNTY, Texas \u2014 A 16-year-old robbery suspect is dead after he was shot by a security guard late Saturday night at a Walgreens in north Harris County, Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said.<\/p>\n

His accomplice, an 18-year-old, was also shot by the security guard. He is stable and recovering in the hospital. <\/p>\n

This happened at about midnight in the 1400 block of W FM 1960 Road. <\/p>\n

Lt. Rush with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office said the security guard was walking around the Walgreens, doing surveillance, when he spotted the two suspects, wearing masks, about to walk inside of the store. <\/p>\n

One of the suspects pulled out a gun when he approached the front door and that’s when the security guard pulled out his gun and yelled at the suspects.<\/p>\n

The suspect pointed his gun at the guard and that’s when the guard started shooting at the both of them. The 16-year-old was shot multiple times. He collapsed on scene and was unresponsive when he was taken to the hospital.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Resident confronts, shoots home burglar<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nPALMDALE \u2014 A burglary suspect was injured Friday when shot by someone in the house they had illegally entered, Los Angeles County Sheriff\u2019s deputies at the Palmdale Station said.<\/p>\n

The station received a call at 10:56 a.m. regarding a burglary that had just occurred in 37000 block of Moondance Drive. The caller said he had shot the suspect.<\/p>\n

Deputies responded to the house and found the caller with his mother and sister, who said the suspect entered the house and began advancing toward his mother, who screamed and warned that someone was inside the residence.<\/p>\n

As the mother attempted to retreat up a staircase, the caller warned the suspect to leave the house and that he was armed. The suspect started up the staircase. Fearing for their safety, the caller fired a warning shot and told the suspect to leave, deputies said.<\/p>\n

When he continued advancing up the staircase, the caller fired again, this time striking him in the right arm, and the suspect fled.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Nebraska State Patrol investigating shooting, home invasion in Tecumseh<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nTECUMSEH, Neb. \u2014 The Nebraska State Patrol is investigating a shooting that happened in Tecumseh late Friday evening.<\/p>\n

Investigators said the incident occurred at around 10:45 p.m. at 789 N 4th St.<\/p>\n

About an hour before the incident, NSP said Raymond Brown, 64, and Janet Brown, 60 — the home’s residents — received multiple threatening phone calls from two past co-workers, Colton Bridgewater, 26, and Levi Bridgewater, 20.<\/p>\n

According to NSP, Colton and Levi Bridgewater, along with their father, Kenneth Bridgewater, 50, went to the Browns’ home.<\/p>\n

Investigators said the Browns then called 911 and told the Bridgewaters to leave. At that time, NSP said all three Bridgewaters forced their way inside the home and began fighting with Raymond Brown. Both Brown and Kenneth Bridgewater were armed with handguns during the altercation.<\/p>\n

During the fight, NSP said Brown shot both Colton and Levi Bridgewater. After an additional struggle, Kenneth Bridgewater went outside and continued yelling threats at Brown.<\/p>\n

Investigators said an off-duty Nebraska Department of Correctional Services officer, who was not part of the incident, was nearby and responded to the scene and helped deescalate the situation. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n
