{"id":8688,"date":"2009-03-13T15:21:41","date_gmt":"2009-03-13T20:21:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/valorguardians.com\/blog\/?p=8688"},"modified":"2009-03-13T15:25:09","modified_gmt":"2009-03-13T20:25:09","slug":"first-living-moh-recipient-in-gwot","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/?p=8688","title":{"rendered":"First Living MOH recipient in GWOT?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Brendan McGarry reports in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.militarytimes.com\/news\/2009\/03\/marine_conway_MoH_031109w\/\">Military Times<\/a> that the Marine Corps may be ready to award the first Medal of Honor to a living recipient during the Global War on Terror;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cWe have a case that I sent an investigating officer out to take a look at on the West Coast that, if proven, I think will prompt me to recommend the Medal of Honor for a living Marine,\u201d Gen. James T.
