You have to read it to believe it.<\/p>\n<p>I know that everyone, including AW1Ed, has stories about people doing something abundantly stupid and somehow not being turned into a sandwich by the Fates, but this was really pushing the boundaries.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.armytimes.com\/off-duty\/military-culture\/2019\/05\/03\/soldier-climbs-over-safety-railing-and-falls-into-active-volcano\/\">https:\/\/www.armytimes.com\/off-duty\/military-culture\/2019\/05\/03\/soldier-climbs-over-safety-railing-and-falls-into-active-volcano\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Maybe someone can explain the urge to go over the guard rail at an active volcano or the Grand Canyon to \u201cget a better look\u201d, without realizing there are serious consequences, e.g., going over the guard rail at a zoo to get closer to the tiger or polar bears for a selfie and then getting mauled. One of these days, the dominant male gorilla behind the &#8220;unbreakable&#8221; glass is going to break it while the 4-year-olds are teasing him.<\/p>\n<p>Nice photo of Kilauea taking a nap in the article.
