And chases the 19 year old meltdown out of the synagogue, shooting up his car as he attempts to flee. Sadly one person was killed and three injured in the attack.<\/p>\n

A man opened fire inside a San Diego synagogue Saturday and a good guy with a gun chased him out of the building and opened fire on this fleeing vehicle.<\/p>\n

The Los Angeles Times<\/em> reports<\/a> that the gunman, entered the Chabad of Poway around 11:20 am. He opened fire shortly thereafter. Three individuals were injured and a fourth was killed.<\/p>\n

NBC San Diego reports<\/a> that \u201can off-duty U.S. Border Patrol agent who was in the synagogue at the time of the shooting opened fire on the suspect, missing the man but striking his vehicle.\u201d<\/p>\n

A suspect thought to be the gunman was arrested a short time later.<\/p>\n

Synagogue member Minoo Anvari said, \u201cOne message from all of us in our congregation is that we are standing together, we are getting stronger. Never again. You can\u2019t break us. We are strong.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

More on the shooter is forthcoming; early reports state he is a 19 year old armed with an AR type weapon. The only good news is a Border Patrol agent was in attendance at the synagogue, and was able to return fire.
