Captain Paul Sikkema, who taught ethics at the Air Force Academy in 2017, was arrested for luring a child on the internet. If law enforcement is involved in something like this, there’s a possibility that he was caught as a result of a predator netting operation.<\/p>\n

A U.S. Air Force Academy professor has been arrested on the charge of luring a child on the internet, according to police in Colorado.<\/p>\n

Capt. Paul Sikkema, who teaches philosophy at the service academy, was recently arrested by investigators from the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office on a felony charge.<\/p>\n

The charge is a class four felony and generally involves an adult knowingly communicating with a child under 15 years old. During the online communications, the adult usually describes sexual conduct and seeks to meet up in person.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

As a part of such an operation, a team of people act as “decoys”, pretending to be underage children. In their interaction with the adult that wants to get with them, the decoy says things designed to get the adult to take courses of actions thinking that they are dealing with a real deal minor.<\/p>\n

If you want to get a good idea of how something like this goes down, there are videos on YouTube titled, “Hansen Vs Predator”. This is one scenario. Another one is that he could’ve been reported by a parent or other adult.<\/p>\n
