The one about the homeless vet giving his last $20 to some woman who had run out of gas?\u00a0 The first clue, if anyone paid attention, was “out of gas”.\u00a0 Who in the blue-eyed world runs out of gas these days? Cars will tell you in vocables that they are low on gas, or beep at you pathetically to get your attention. With a gas rating of generally 22MPG, if you can’t make a complete trip on a 16-gallon tank, you’re in the desert somewhere.<\/p>\n

“The trio gained widespread recognition, and more than 14,000 donors contributed through GoFundMe, ostensibly to help Bobbitt. But it was all a scam, Burlington County prosecutors said, intended to enrich the three co-conspirators.<\/p>\n

It was so wonderful that it brought in $400,000++ in donations through Go Fund Me. Then it turned out to be a scam, and the three participants or co-conspirators were arrested for fraud. Now the guy who was the homeless vet has received his comeuppance. He gets to spend some time in jail – five years of time he will never get back.<\/p>\n

I guess he won’t be “homeless” for a while.<\/p>\n
