New Zealand’s government on Monday introduced a bill it plans to rush into law that would ban the types of weapons a gunman used to kill 50 people at two mosques.<\/p>\n
Police Minister Stuart Nash said that if lawmakers pass the bill as expected, the new law will take effect April 12, less than a month after the March 15 attacks. Plans for law changes were first announced by Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern in the days after the attacks, when the government imposed an immediate ban on the sales of such weapons.<\/p>\n

\nMongrel Mob leader Sonny Fatu is making it clear his gang will not be surrendering their guns as mandated by the New Zealand government.<\/p>\nOn March 20, 2019, Breitbart News reported New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern\u2019s announcement that \u201cmilitary-style\u201d semiautomatic rifles, \u201chigh-capacity\u201d magazines, and certain gun parts were being banned. While making the announcement, Ardern encouraged New Zealand gun owners to go ahead and hand over their firearms.<\/p>\n

Fatu added, \u201cThe attacks between our organisations are gang-on-gang, they do not involve the non-gang members. Although there may be peripheral damage and violence that occasionally spills out into the public eye, it is absolutely and without intention for any harm to be caused to non-gang members.\u201d<\/p>\n
He referenced the March 15, 2019, Mosque attacks in New Zealand, saying, \u201cIt\u2019s not in our culture to inflict harm on innocent people like what happened in Christchurch.\u201d<\/p>\n
Black Power member Denis O\u2019Reilly echoed Fatu\u2019s sentiment when asked if his gang would hand over their guns. O\u2019Reilly said, \u201cOf course not. Why the hell would you be talking about handing back guns when you\u2019re talking about progressing your family and moving from pathology to potential. Where on earth would discussions about guns come up in that?\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
