First of all, those monthly VA disability payments are supposed to be set up for XX months, aren&#8217;t they? And isn&#8217;t this all done on an autopay basis?<\/p>\n<p>Or am I just assuming incorrectly that there are <em>no<\/em> government sandcrabs in cluttered cubicles who key in this stuff each month and manage to constantly screw up things for other people, who have to pay for <em>their<\/em> mistakes?<\/p>\n<p>The man who caught the mistake did notify the VA, but despite his paying back part of it immediately, he was still penalized for the VA&#8217;s mistake.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.military.com\/daily-news\/2019\/03\/27\/va-mistake-forces-veterans-seek-help-pay-bills.html\">https:\/\/www.military.com\/daily-news\/2019\/03\/27\/va-mistake-forces-veterans-seek-help-pay-bills.html<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Well, you must keep a weather eye on your accounts, but you should already know that, and do not ever think that Uncle Sam is benevolent or does not make mistakes. We all know better.
