Parker was transported to Vidant Medical Center, where he later died from his injuries.<\/p>\n<p>The release said it appears Parker was attending the gathering when a dispute erupted. He remains in the Natchitoches Parish Detention Center without bond on charges of kidnapping and aggravated assault.<\/p>\n<p>A release states that Jefferson had given the victim, described as his domestic partner, a ride to a bank. But the two got into an argument, and Jefferson allegedly used a shock device on the woman and bound her hands with zip ties.<\/p>\n<p>She was able to escape him not long after. However, he shocked her again and tightened the ties, reads the release.<\/p>\n<p>Jefferson then drove toward Campti and to La.
