Police: Roanoke Co. homeowner shoots 27-year-old trying to rob his home<\/strong><\/p>\n by Elizabeth Tyree Police said officers were called to the report of a shooting in the 6000 block of Carefree Lane around 8:55 p.m. Sunday, February 24.<\/p>\n When they got there, they found that a man had been shot and was pronounced dead at the scene by Roanoke County Fire and Rescue.<\/p>\n After investigating, police said Frankie E.
