Suspect, victim injured during home invasion that sent bullets flying through complex<\/strong><\/p>\n By: Steve Gehlbach , Audrey Washington Channel 2\u2019s Steve Gehlbach talked to a neighbor who said she had a bullet fired into her apartment at the Windrush Apartments off Kensington Road.<\/p>\n The mother asked not to be identified but she showed Gehlbach the bullet hole in her front door.<\/p>\n She said her 5-year-old son was asleep in the next room.<\/p>\n \u201c(It) came through the door, got into the carpet,\u201d the mother said. \u201cI\u2019m scared for my life because my baby could have got shot or I could have got shot.\u201d<\/p>\n Police found the victim and suspect shot in what they call a home invasion.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n 0 \/ 1 \/ 0<\/p>\n Read the rest here: WSB TV<\/a><\/p>\n Police: Armed bystander takes down gunman at Titusville back-to-school event<\/strong><\/p>\n By: Chip Skambis The shooting occurred at Isaac Campbell Park on South Street shortly after 5:20 p.m. when the shooter, whom police have not identified, returned to the park after a fistfight and began firing, investigators said. <\/p>\n A bystander, who was licensed to a carry a firearm, shot the gunman, police said. Then the two armed suspects jumped out and tried to rob her.<\/p>\n First, they took her purse, and then they tried to force her into the house. However, that is when her husband showed up.<\/p>\n He heard the commotion from inside, grabbed his gun and ended up exchanging gunfire with the intruders. Fortunately, the couple weren\u2019t hit, but one of the suspects was hit in the head, police said.
