However, the US Supreme Court overturned the US Court of Appeals order, and denied his request.<\/p>\n<p>The Eleventh Circuit argued from the First Amendment aspect, with regards to respecting an establishment of religion. A basic concept was that if Christians could be afforded a priest in the room, that Ray should have an Imam present during his execution.
