The folks at Military Phony<\/a> send us their work on Kendrick Henderson Cook<\/a> who claims he retired from the US Army as a Special Forces Lieutenant Colonel (O-5).<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>He also implies he was on active duty until 2007 in some secret clandestine status that would restrict people from having access to his military records.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Is it two tiers or is it three tiers?\u00a0 \u00a0Who’s counting anyway?<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

When someone claimed to have his records, he lightened up but still claimed that the FBI would circle the wagons around protecting his status.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

At issue was his service beyond 1993, but public records show Ken was quite busy.\u00a0 Must have been hard to juggle a life of running from the law while serving as an officer in the US Army.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

So, Ken Cook’s military records were ordered.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

So, Cook was Special Forces but his official military records do not show assignments\u00a0passed 1993 and it appears he was in a non-drilling reserve status until 1997.<\/p>\n

Got out as an E-6 (SSG) vs. O-5 (LTC).<\/p>\n

The Special Forces \/ Green Beret community got involved which is summarized below.<\/p>\n

Friends and colleagues that are very familiar with Green Berets\/Special Forces and their training looked into Cook\u2019s situation. A small paraphrased clip of the military training discussion follows about Cook\u2026<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

If Ken Cook was commissioned, he would have OBC or BOLC, career courses, etc.<\/p>\n

No way he got to O-5 without them.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

So, there you have it.\u00a0 A man that accomplished enough for anyone to be proud of during his military service.\u00a0 He served when most wouldn’t and did what many couldn’t.\u00a0 It is a shame he felt it wasn’t enough.\u00a0 Many would feel it is more than enough.\u00a0 I will never understand why some people find a need to embellish their military career beyond recognition.<\/p>\n

I’ll just post this and sit back and wait for the FBI to come knocking.<\/p>\n
