A UK woman, Kate Scottow, called a transgender a man instead of the preferred “woman”. Additionally, she was accused to linking the transgender to the transgender’s birth name, known as “dead naming”. That’s like our using “Bradley Manning” instead of “Chelsea Manning”. A series of events happened that led the police to Kate’s door.<\/p>\n

Mrs Scottow denied harassing or defaming Miss Hayden and said she holds a ‘genuine and reasonable belief’ that a human ‘cannot practically speaking change sex’, but Deputy Judge Jason Coppel QC issued an interim injunction that bans her from posting any personal information about Miss Hayden on social media, ‘referencing her as a man’ or linking her to her ‘former male identity’.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

She got arrested, taken in for questioning, then held in a cell for 7 hours without the basic necessities that she needed. A couple months after her arrest, she’s still waiting on the return of her laptop.<\/p>\n
