There’s a lesson here.<\/span> Rock Hill Police responded to a reported shooting Sunday afternoon around 3 p.m. off Eastwood Drive and Willowbrook Avenue.<\/p>\n When officers arrived, they said they spoke with a 72-year-old man who said he had been working on a car at a home when he saw man acting in a violent toward residents at a house nearby.<\/p>\n Police said the victim, who is a concealed weapons permit holder, got his handgun from his vehicle.<\/p>\n Rock Hill Police said the suspect 19-year-old Maurice Hunt was staying at the home, and was allegedly kicked out just before the incident.<\/p>\n “The people basically made him leave, and that set him off into a tirade, and that’s when our victim got his handgun because he wasn’t sure what this young man was gonna do,” police said.<\/p>\n Officials said Hunt then struck the victim in the back of the head and knocked him down.<\/p>\n According to police, Hunt took the man\u2019s gun and fired several shots at him before fleeing the scene in a vehicle.
