The kid’s heart was in the right place; too bad his bullets weren’t.<\/span> NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) – A Jasper County boy fired several gunshots into the ground in an effort to protect his mother as she was being assaulted by her boyfriend, according to Sheriff Mitchel Newman.<\/p>\n The incident occurred at a home on County Road 298, which is also known as Garland Smith Road, around noon Monday.<\/p>\n Newman said that his deputies responded to a report of a disturbance with shots fire.<\/p>\n When JCSO deputies got to the scene, they learned that the boyfriend, who was later identified as Kenneth Brown, had the boy\u2019s mother by the collar and was \u201cthrowing her around,\u201d Newman said.<\/p>\n The sheriff said the boy told Brown to quit messing with his mother and fired several gunshots into the ground in an effort to protect her.<\/p>\n No charges will be filed against the boy, Newman said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n The boyfriend, not so much. Read the entire article here: KTR E.com<\/a><\/p>\n Wonder if Deschion’s street name was, “Hound?”<\/span> JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A suspected robber was shot by an employee at a MetroPCS in Arlington on Saturday night, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said.<\/p>\n The robbery was reported about 8 p.m. at the store on Merrill Road at Cesery Boulevard.<\/p>\n According to the police report, Deschion Baskerville went into the MetroPCS, pulled a gun on a female clerk and demanded money, threatening to kill her. She handed over some money, then ran into the office and told a co-worker what was happening.<\/p>\n The co-worker then came out and shot Baskerville, police said.<\/p>\n Baskerville, 28, was taken to a hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. He is charged with robbery, according to the incident report.<\/p>\n No employees or customers in the business were injured, police said.
